Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations -2023

Dear Devotees and Friends,

In an era where Adharma was on the rise, disrupting the cosmic order, the Supreme One, Maha Vishnu incarnated as Krishna to restore balance and virtue. The Tenth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam describes this divine moment: "At the auspicious moment when all celestial bodies were in perfect alignment, Lord Krishna descended in His four-armed form, adorned with conch, disc, mace, and lotus, radiating like a newborn sun."

Young, Krishna was equally famous for his playful mischief. Whether it  was stealing butter from the homes of Gopis, playing the melodious flute  to enchant the hearts of all in Vrindavan, or engaging in pranks with his friends, the tales of Bal Krishna remind us of the pure joy  and innocence that divinity can embody.

On the anniversary of this divine occasion, let us come together to celebrate an evening filled with Bhakti, joy, and the everlasting spirit of Krishna.

• 16:00 Sat-Sang: A gathering for spiritual discourse
• 16:30 Bal Gopalji Abhishek Pooja and Jhoola: Ceremonial bathing and swinging of the infant Krishna deity
• 17:00 Bhajans, Aarti, and Prasad: Devotional songs, ritual of light, and blessed food
